This women’s trapper ushanka is made from Russian raccoon fur, dyed to an even black tone. Known as finnraccoon, this fur combines soft matte underwool with glossy, flowing guard hairs — creating a texture that’s expressive without being loud. It covers the forehead, inner earflaps, and back neckline, forming a full winter frame with depth and movement.
The leather crown is shaped softly, with one top panel running front to back and curved side inserts. A sewn-in visor defines the front. The earflaps are designed to tie gently behind the head using black cotton straps — opening the profile while preserving warmth and coverage.
