This naval officer fur hat is handcrafted in Russia using long hair black beaver — dense, smooth, and naturally lustrous. Compared to sheared beaver, this version adds visual volume and reflective depth without changing the clean geometry of the original design.
The crown is structured and low, with a leather or suede top. The frontal flap snaps forward like a visor, adding contour. Earflaps align with the cheeks when worn down and fold cleanly when tied up. The rear flap extends to protect the upper neck.
