This women’s bomber-style ushanka is made from natural baum marten fur — known in Russia as лесная куница. Its texture is soft and silky, with a warm brown color range and a rich, earth-toned underfur. Compared to stone marten, baum marten offers a deeper, duskier palette — understated, yet vivid in natural light.

The crown is built from six leather panels, forming a softly structured aviator silhouette. Inside, the hat is fully lined with quilted black satin (viscose), which balances warmth and breathability in winter use.

Two long baum marten tails replace pom-poms in this model. Attached to elastic loops at the earflaps, they can be intertwined beneath the chin, at the nape, or above the crown — forming a secure scarf-style closure. The tails move freely, adding natural rhythm and vertical visual weight.
