This Romanov Fox Fur Clutch – L’Or Noir Edition is built on contrast: depth and glint, shadow and burnish. The fur is Silver Fox, hand-dyed in L’Or Noir — a tone named after crude oil for a reason. Its base is nearly black, with flashes of indigo and plum at the root. But the light plays tricks: brown rises to gold across the guard hairs. The result is complex, deliberate, and unmistakably rare.

Signature Materials

The front panel is a single field of L’Or Noir-dyed fox — no leather insert, no decoration. Just fur, rising naturally in length and sheen. Along the top edge, a narrow band of lacquered reptile-textured leather defines the line. It offers grip, protects the fur from the zipper’s path, and shapes the silhouette without cutting it.

The back is made of the same polished leather — dark cognac with a warm lacquered shine. One seam runs along the zipper’s base, precisely aligned. A medium ROMANOV badge in gold-tone metal is placed at the center bottom. The strap is 36 cm, gold-tone chain only — same as the one used in our Gold Fox model. Interior: silk-type fabric in a soft complementary tone.
