Dark shine with layered motion
This women’s bomber-style ushanka is made from raccoon fur (tanuki) dyed in solid black. After coloration, the fur retains its natural two-layer structure: the short underfur appears matte and deep, while the long outer guard hairs reflect light with a soft luster. The result is a voluminous, textured black that shifts subtly in motion.
The crown is constructed from six leather panels in a rounded aviator shape. Inside, the hat is fully lined with quilted black satin (viscose) — breathable and insulating for winter wear.
Two large black raccoon pom-poms are attached to elastic loops at the earflaps. These can be intertwined under the chin, behind the neck, or above the crown — forming a scarf-style wind-blocking closure without ties or snaps.
