This Russian fur trapper hat is built for cold wind and long paths. Handcrafted in Russia, it pairs luxurious natural shadow fox fur with a crown cut from genuine Pavlovo Posad shawl — the blue floral wool pressed using traditional heated forms.

Each panel of the crown carries a motif passed down through folk design: bold roses, deep indigo, fine scrollwork. Shadow fox fur lines the entire perimeter — full-front, side flaps and neck — offering volume, warmth and unmistakable silhouette.

Inside, the trapper is lined with quilted viscose for breathable insulation. The tie straps — visible as black cords in current product photos — are now made from the same Pavlovo Posad wool as the crown. Carefully cut and sewn into narrow fabric ribbons, they extend the floral motif across the silhouette. Each strap is integrated into the side panels, preserving the material's continuity and artisanal intent.
